Meet the design team

Challenge Blog Owner

Hi everyone I am the blog owner, I have 3 children I live with one daughter and my partner.
I first got into crafting by a neighbour in 2012.  I enjoy all aspects of crafting.
I love colouring with pencils,
I first got into blogging to show some cards I had made, I then got spotted by Bonnie who at the time was running her own challenge blog with another owner this was in 2012.  I then started on a few different design teams.
Which took me into digital stamps and colouring.
Up until then I had only coloured a few digital stamps.
I eventually ended up running my own challenge blogs I love running challenges and meeting all sorts of different people, and love working with different digital  stamp companies.

I have also been on the design team at Polka doodles and felt honoured to  have had various different makes I made from polkadoodles on the tv at create and craft.

I love every minute of it.

I adore all types of crafting. Love to colour images and place them in backgrounds which tell a story. Talking of which I love writing stories telling the tales of the images as I see them. Also loving mini albums and scrapbooking.

I'm an art teacher originally from New York State and now retired, living in Florida. For many years I have experimented with several areas of creativity.

For several years my husband and I covered arts and entertainment as correspondents for a local newspaper. I enjoyed participating in special events such as the Menendez Birthday Festival, which took place in St. Augustine. I’ve enjoyed the theater arts so much that eventually I tried out and won parts in four local productions.
My art work is for sale locally and has been published in a few magazine. For the latest stop on my journey, I take part in designing cards for challenges and belong to several design teams.

I love working with cute images and enjoy putting them in scenes. My go to medium has been colored pencils, but I just began working with Copic Markers and I am loving them. I do enjoy trying out new mediums and techniques. Life right now is full and busy designing and coloring for lots of greeting cards.

My name is HeatherM. I’m a SAHM of two kids, a boy and a girl. I started coloring with markers when my daughter was 4, and I find that she influences my coloring and most of my brighter color combinations are inspired by her. I’ve also dabbled in crafts ranging from stained glass and bead making to making my own lightsaber hilt and jedi costumes including drafting the patterns.

Since the age of 8 I have knitted, embroidered and sewn. The amount of time spent on these hobbies reduced when I had children, but when I retired (from teaching mathematics) I began making cards for the family. This then developed into making cards requested by neighbours and subsequently I began my own blog and hence entered into the world of paper challenges!
